Guest guest
Praghosh prabhu underwent 2nd session of chemotherapy on 10th & 11th July. This time he was given very heavy immunomodulator drug, which he tolerated very well. Dr. Bhave ,his oncologist, was very happy. The lymphoedema (swelling due to engorgement of lymph) of left leg has disappeared Which is the symptom of reduction in the size of the tumor which was huge in size initially. Also an enlarged lymph node in the left groin has disappeared. It was thought before that as the tumour was very he may require surgery even after 6 chemo.sessions;but now looking at the reduction in the size of the tumour, the doctor feels that surgery may not be needed. In the meantime, other supportive treatment continues. your servant, Vishwarupdas
