Festival of India – Denmark 2004

 

Festival of India will take place on 21 August, in Town Hall Square,

Copenhagen. Consider this announcement your invitation to take part in this

wonderful event. If you want to participate in the festival as a guest, do

voluntary service, or help with donations – please check out

www.festivalofindia.dk for more information and contact info. There are also

some videos of past festival events around the world for your enjoyment.

 

Highlights:

 

The Festival of India provides a feast for the senses; we will entertain,

inspire and give an experience of India; including:

 

-a variety of live music from India and around the world

 

-an insight into the ancient wisdom of the Vedic Culture

 

-auspicious traditional fire sacrifice performed by Indian Sadhus

 

-colourful & dramatic Bharatanatyam dance live on stage

 

-delicious free Indian vegetarian feast served to everyone

 

-large exhibitions of books, gifts, jewellery and home ware, all from India
