Due to the heroic efforts of Sankarshan Nitai Prabhu, Keshava Prabhu and Visvajit Prabhu along with their assistants, our Mayapur Prtoject has been saved from flooding. Even though Ganga rose 5 inches above the road, and thus normally would of taken about 24 hours to fill up our entire property to the same level as the Ganga's. Many devotees guided these Prabhus worked day and night to keep the Ganga at bay. Now Ganga has started to recited. So we hope the danger has past. Still, we have lost many crops and the contents of our sewage have mixed with the water which had run into the property and it will take some days to clean everything and even more days for the water to drain from the fields, so more crops could be planted. Many of the flower and Tulasi patches have also been lost. The situation is still a fluid , if more heavy rain comes then Ganga can easily start to rise again.
