can someone give sastric and sadhu validations for ritvikism

some devotees have expressed a desire that they would like to excluded from

the mailing list on this issue. i think we should respect this and exclude

those who dont want to participate.

 

i humbly apologise for the inconvenience caused by including many of

you...the fault has been mostly mine.

 

regarding ritvikism i would like to know the sadhu and sastra evidence for

this.

SP always taught that all his teachings were backed up by sadhu and sastra

and that was his major USP - unique selling point...

he said thats what made him different from all others..

 

we have 4 major vaishnava sampradayas..

can someone back up ritvikism using sastric and sadhu references from these

sampradayas.

 

can someone also add Madhu Pandit Prabhu and Chanchalapati Prabhu from

ISKCON Blore and get them to also convince us on this philosophy? Also

please add Krishna Kant Prabhu, Sattvik Prabhu from Calcutta and other

Ritvik adherents to please enlighten us on this issue.

 

i would also like to question a few things that i have noticed. if ritvikism

is right and the best way to go...then why is ISKCON Bangalore afraid to

debate and discuss this issue. Why is it that whenever devotees from other

temples go there..they are prevented from speaking to temple devotees from

Blore..why is there a security escort necessary.....what are they afraid of?

 

Caitanya Mahaprabhu and his followers believed in discussing and defeating

people from other schools of thought which are wrong..so why is there so

much fear in ISKCON Bangalore.

 

also why is it that instead of discussing and convincing opposing

views....they believe in throwing people out physically ...and use force

rather than logic and arguement...is this what Srila Prabhupad taught us....

 

i find that in the temple they have employees who are karmis, mayavadis,

srivaishnavas etc...all discussing and voicing their opinions among

themselves about all kinds of issues...why then this attitude to fellow

ISKCONites...this is strange..

 

if a philosophy is right...then its practitioners will have exemplary

behaviour...or will atleast tend towards that...i dont find that in ISKCON

Blore...so...is the philosophy wrong..

 

to prove the effectiveness of his philosophy and his teachings...SP used to

point out his disciples....can ISKCON Blore...which is the leading temple

worldwide practicing ritvikism point out its good vaishnava behaviours?

 

i respect the akshaya patra and other humanitarian initiatives...but that so

many other organisations...also do....worldwide and do well...SP regarded

other things as more creditworthy....he wanted to boil the milk....and raise

good vaishnavas....and that was the speciality of his movement...atleast so

i think....please correct me if i am wrong

 

SP is quoted so many times..as saying that everything you need to know is in

my books...is that not right...and he wanted people to read some literatures

like BTG etc...but did he authorise Back to Prabhupad...who is the oracle

whom he authorised..

 

the system of ritvikism reminds me of the Greek oracle..where the Greek God

speaks to one or two people..and they claim to be close to God..and usurp

power.....please prove me wrong..

 

in a letter by SP...he condemns the centralisation of power...and urges only

the GBC to be in control of all management ...and wants to have temples run

and managed locally....but under a GBC..usually he had one temple under one

TP...independent structures..

 

why is it that ISKCON BLore and its trustees are in control of ISKCON

Blore..and temples and establishements in other locations like Mysore,

Mangalore etc also..also vrindavan lands...

 

Also the majority of trustees seem to be close family members...

MPP & CPP are married to two sisters..who also are trustees...and there are

two other brahmacharis......who are said to be adopted sons of the matajis..

did SP encourage such family run temples...

why cant they have more trustees...is there a dearth of good trustworthy and

sincere committed devotees in Bangalore and other locations where ISKCON

Bangalore has control.

 

there is increasingly opinion that i hear ..that the issue is not ritvikism

but a quest for control...i wish and hope that such allegations are untrue

and true intent is love of devotees, SP and Krishna

 

Sri Krishna says in the BG..that for an honorable man..dishonor is worse

than death...

i urge the management of ISKCON Blore...to ensure that such " false

propaganda" is quashed by peaceful and devotee like behavior and through the

mode preferred by Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu....please remember that he wanted

that the yuga dharma of sankirtan was propogated by love and discussion...

 

proof of this is that he did not use his sudarshan against jagai and madhai

...and did not physically assault or cause to assault Chand Kazi...he also

did not file cases against any devotee or non devotee to harass them....

 

so lets go through this process in HIS mood..of love and discussion...

 

kindly forgive my offenses...i am only making some observations..from recent

experiences...please enlighten..
