Guest guest
The bonafide spiritual master does not take disciples as his own. He simply accepts them on behalf of his Guru Maharaja feeling himself unfit to be a spiritual master. YS SDA Krishna Priya (dasi) (Amsterdam - NL) [Krishna.Priya (AT) pamho (DOT) net] Wednesday, January 05, 2005 11:34 AM Sankarshan Das Adhikari Why is the IRM pushing? No one is declining you your right to preach Krishna Consciousness.... what I have understood, being in contact with IRM is that IRM is saying: everyone should go on pushing the movement forward, preaching Krishna Consciousness: only do it on behalf of Srila Prabhupada!!!! If Srila Prabhupada is reinstated in his rightful position of Acharya of ISKCON, only then can we unite, and go full strenght forward........bringing everyone to take shelter of the GREATEST ACHARYA EVER, history has recorded....... Isn't it simply a matter of wrong interpretation? Which seems like Mount Meru itself, to be rectified? If only we all could be truly honest, sincere and completely dedicated to Srila Prabhupada, truly giving him "all honor", not falsely claiming "his disciples" as our own, then there would be no limit to the success of our ISKCON movement. Unfortunately, this seems to be a vision, only held by those who understand 'The Final Order'. remaining hopeful in service of Srila Prabhupada, Krishnapriya dasi
Guest guest
Diksha is always given by someone who is physically manifest on this plane. This is our Vedic system as taught to us by Srila Prabhupada. Externally the Prabhupada disciple takes the position of guru for training the disciple how to surrender to guru. But internally he never thinks that he is guru. Is this clear? If he thinks he is actually guru, he is garu (a cow.) He considers himself completely unfit for whatever service or glorification he receives from his disciples, but as a matter of duty, on the order of Srila Prabhupada, he accepts these on behalf of Srila Prabhupada. There is a relevant example in this connection given by Srila Prabhupada in 1972 in New Vrindavan. During British rule in India the British viceroy accepted all honor and gifts not for himself but on behalf of the king. You know what, Mataji? If we keep engaging in sincere dialogue, we are going to eventually to overcome our differences and be catalysts for the healing of ISKCON. Are you willing? Please realise this and help the others realise it, so we may finally have an ISKCON as Srila Prabhupada envisioned...... Please become a Ritvik, Representative of Our Acharya, under a reformed GBC. I pray to Srila Prabhupada to please redirect THE GBC and all his followers, who have intentionally or unintentionally gone astray. Let us reunite and serve under the lotus feet of OUR MOST WONDERFUL ACHARYA! ys KPdd
