For the initiation the physical presence of the guru is required

The proof is following statement (from me):

 

"It is not mentioned in the sastras or by the sadhus that for

the initiation the physical presence of the guru is not required.

Therefore the physical presence of the guru is required."

 

I invite the ritvikvadis to defeat above statement.

 

Note that I am speaking about initiation (diksa), not instruction (siksa).

So please don't present quotes that say that for instructing the physical

presence of the guru is not required.
