Guest guest
The reply you are deriding are the words of Srila Prabhupada. Krishna Priya (dasi) (Amsterdam - NL) [Krishna.Priya (AT) pamho (DOT) net] Saturday, January 08, 2005 11:59 AM Sankarshan Das Adhikari The one who is now the the disciple is thet next guru. <<<The one who is now the disciple is the next guru.>>>> You can surely give a better reply than that? If anyone were to be appointed successor to Srila Prabhupada, it would be from his circle of disciples.........not some Tom/Dick or Harry pulled in from the street........ Yet, as you very well know, Srila Prabhupada did not appoint Gurus, he only appointed Ritviks. But, I guess you are simply not able to accept that, isn't it? Guest guest
Prabhupada said both things. Krishna Priya (dasi) (Amsterdam - NL) [Krishna.Priya (AT) pamho (DOT) net] Saturday, January 08, 2005 3:49 PM Sankarshan Das Adhikari RE: The one who is now the the disciple is thet next guru. <<<<Srila Prabhupada didn't say we had to be fully realized to act as guru.>>> The above statement is made by you, yet I have proved Srila Prabhupada saying the opposite: Please note the word "ONLY" in the following quote! "When one has attained the topmost position of maha-bhagavata, he is to be accepted as a guru and worshipped exactly like Hari, the Personality of Godhead. Only such a person is eligible to occupy the post of guru". (CC Madhya, 24.330. purport)
