Guest guest
> Why is it that in Ramananda Samvada (8. chapter of madhya lila) and Rupa > Siksa (19 chapter of madhya lila) there are verses from Bhakti Rasamrta > Sindhu or even Govinda lilamrta (8.182 and 8.206 and 8.211) that were > not even written by that time. > > Krishna das Kaviraja Goswami wrote Govinda lilamrta nearly hundred years > later.... >From what you write here it appears that Krishna das Kaviraja quotes verses from a work that he wrote himself nearly a hundred years after he wrote the CC. That makes little sense... The Kaviraja compiled the CC at a very advanced age, obviously after he wrote the Govinda Lilamrta. He was born in 1496. Rupa Gosvami, who wrote the Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu, was born in 1493. By the time the Kaviraja compiled the CC, the BRS was already existing.
