Personal Coaching

Coaching is the world’s second-fastest growing business skill (after

information technology), a profession that is still seeing rapid growth and

most of all, it’s a uniquely satisfying career. It’s no wonder coaching is

becoming popular. All coaches have something in common – they are people

that want to help others be happy and achieve what they want in life.

What is personal coaching?

Quite simply, coaching is about getting the very best out of someone and

enabling them to make decisions that will improve their life.

Coaches are hired for very different reasons. Reasons that can include

wanting to climb the career ladder faster and feel more fulfilled at work;

improve relationships with family and partners; learning parenting skills

that benefit both the child and parent; gaining a spiritual meaning to life

or a desire to 'get sorted'.

The profession has grown at a phenomenal rate and coaching is becoming more

and more acknowledged for the results it can get both in personal

development and in business. People are realising just how effective

coaching is.

Caoching is not to be confused with psychology, counselling or therapy. The

main difference between coaching and these professions is that you won’t

have the answers. A coach’s job is not to go over old ground, be

past-orientated or forcefeed information. Their main job is to work with

clients to help them find the answers themselves.

All the achievements that people get through coaching are a result of their

own actions – a coaches rarely suggests the answers, they guide clients to

find the answers themselves.

Coaching is a unique way of helping people develop themselves. Whatever

reason people choose to hire coaches, the first thing you’ll notice from

many coaching relationship is that it’s a two-way process.

Coaching will enable you to:

* Set clear goals and priorities in every area

* Identify the keys to rapid accomplishment

* Focus on specific actions that increase your likelihood of

success

* Put the “luck factors” of knowledge, skill, contacts and

preparation to work for you

* Leverage the use of money, good work habits, timing, speed and

innovative thinking

* Achieve more of what you really want — faster than you can

imagine possible
