Srila Prabhupada said:

 

"Disease is to be cured, is to be driven away. In Hindi they say, jara ar

para okhane kha na baviya ar.(?) Means “Unwanted guest and disease, you do

not give him to eat, and he will go away.” He will go away. So any disease,

you starve for few days, two days, three days, it will go. And any unwanted

guest, you don’t supply him food. He will automatically go away. So disease

should not be maintained. Disease should be cured."
