Guest guest
Hari Bol! All Glories to Srila Prabhupada! This person makes some good points. Many so called disciples of Srila Prabhupada considered their relationship with His Divine Grace as a mundane one as a son would a father, or prince and a king. While these elements may have been present metaphorically, they certainly have no bearing on the reality of the transcendental relationship of guru and disciple. The "inheritance" arguement is simply absurd. If at some point Srila Prabhupada did order one of his disciples to become a diksa guru and accept disciples, this would be a transcendental occurance, and all the world would know them by their fruits. As we know a mahabhagavata or uttama adhikai is self evidently in love with Sri Krishna and needs nø one. not even his Spiritual Master to order him to impart divya-jnana or disksa to fallen souls. However, the order may be an idea to establish a transcendental exception to the etiquette of not accepting disciples in the physical presence of ones Spiritual Master. Either way, we know a Diksa Guru by the fruits of that ones activities. As far as this quote. Quote: Better that you and your like-thinking friends prove your points by establishing another movement that will quickly eclipse Iskcon, and when the sincere devotees of Iskcon realize their mistake by seeing your vast and faultless society, you can compassionately welcome them into your fold. This would be far more beneficial than continuing your diatribe with its accompanying self-aggrandisement and sense-gratifying one-upmanship that reeks of frustrated subtle sex desire. I have already spoken of my assent to feelings on approaching obvious rascals directly. In my opinion, the IRM is headed to become this "other movement" in the sense that it will become ISKCON REFORMED, formed again according to Srila Prabhupada's original instructions, a faultless society. I believe that in spite of himself, this person is correct in his advice and prophetic as well. Hare Krishna, y.s bhaktamark
