Guest guest
We are happy to announce the publication of the first Madhuvan Varnasrama Ecovillage newsletter! It is produced in pdf format, and can be read using the free 'Acrobat Reader' software available for free download at: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html This newsletter is only 7 pages long and about 700 kb in size. It has many pictures which show who we are and the ongoing work we are doing. Madhuvan Varnasrama Ecovillage has been set up to try to fulfill Srila Prabhupadas desires to implement his teachings on simple living and high thinking by introducing the daivi varnasrama system. The New Vrajamandala Farm project in Central Spain has given us 100 acres (aproximately 40 Hectares) of land to develop this project. We decided to start by building simple dwellings and attempting to live from the land in a simple way. As more devotees join us we will systematicaly try to implement more and more of Srila Prabhupadas directives in an attempt to gradually reach his goal of creating an 'ideal unit' of society. We want to do this in an incremental way, adopting the necesary steps as and when we are able. The village strives to become a 'living' varnasrama college, and we invite all interested devotees to help us in this endeavour. Please take a look at the newsletter, and if you like it you can reply to this text privately with '' in the Subject line. I will then add you on to our mailing list. Guest guest
Sorry it seems the attached file did not get through. I resent it to free forum, and if that works I will resend it to cow. Right now the newsletter is not linked anywhere, I have to send it manually. If there is enough interest I will create a conference for it, and devotees can to the conference and I will upload the newsletter as I have news! I am trying to get somone to update the website at www.madhuvan.org so the newsletter can be downloaded from there also. The Glovesco site is apparently being reorganised.
