Come and immerse yourself in the stream of truths of bhakti scriptures in

Vrindavan, whose atmosphere is mercifully helping sadhakas to work on their

inner growth. Enhance your preaching and spiritual practice with a better

basis in acharyas' beautiful explanations.

 

Get an extra helping of nectar, with generous seconds and thirds: Come for

Bhakti Shastri or Bhakti Vaibhava, top it with the icing of Kartik in

Vrindavan and on it place a cherry of the VIHE 1-week Govardhan Retreat.

 

Or else, you can take it piecemeal: If you cannot get away from your service

for more than a month or two -- you can study in Vrindavan just one module

or just one book and continue by correspondence after that, or come again

next year.

 

 

*** Bhakti Shastri course ***

 

 

In-depth study of Bhagavad-gita, Nectar of Devotion, Nectar of Instruction

and Isopanisad. Srila Prabhupada wanted all the second-initiates to be

Bhakti Shastris.

 

Dates: July 3 to October 20

 

Requirements: Good sadhana, willingness to study and a proficiency

in English. You also must have a recommendation from a senior devotee

who knows you well.

 

Fees: 7,500 Rupees (appr. $170) to help cover the expenses connected

with conducting the course. This does not include room, prasadam and Kartik

courses.

*** Bhakti Vaibhava course ***

 

 

Study of the first six Canto of the Srimad-Bhagavatam. Do not stop at Bhakti

Shastri. Dive into the generous ocean of Vedic conclusions and

Krishna-katha.

 

Dates: July 31, 2005, to October 19 for the fourth and last year of the

course (Cantos 5&6), and December 2, 2005, to March 15 for the next first

year (Cantos 1 & 2).

 

Requirements: Good sadhana, brahminical tendencies, Bhakti Shastri

diploma (or its equivalent in special cases) and a proficiency in English.

You also must have a recommendation from a senior devotee who knows you

well.

 

Fees: 10,000 Rupees (appr. $230) to help cover the expenses connected

with conducting the course. This does not include room, prasadam, and Kartik

courses.

is June 20 for SB5&6 and September 10 for the next first year.

"Listener" category is available, for which the fee is Rs. 4,000 and
