Srila Prabhupada NectarKrsna will be satisfied

For some time we did not have any proper place for

Srila Prabhupada to stay at Hare Krishna Land, so we

often arranged for him to stay with some friend in

Bombay.

When Srila Prabhupada was staying at Karthikeya

Mahadevia's apartment at Sea Face Park in 1973, I used

to go to the city every day to meet people. If someone

didn't want to become a life member, I would ask him

to take an advertisement in a publication. If he

didn't want to take and ad, I would ask him to buy a

set of books. If he didn't buy a set of books, I would

ask him to give a donation, or at least buy one book,

or at least give something, anything, to help. And at

the end of the day, I would report to Srila

Prabhupada.

One day I met many men and not one contributed in any

way. So in the evening when I came back and gave the

repot to Srila Prabhupada, I felt somewhat

disappointed. But Srila Prabhupada instructed, "If you

sincerely try your best to please Krsna, Krsna will be

satisfied - even if others are not."
