Guest guest Posted February 18, 2005 Report Share Posted February 18, 2005 Our Humble Obeisances, Jaya Srila Prabhupada It is very common among indian male devotees, and getting more popular among westeners also, to keep chadar, instead of dhoti, around one's lover part, like one wears lungi or kamsa. Sometime ago one finish devotee was doing puja(in his home) dressed like this. His spiritual master happened to be present and commented that from Vedic point of view this is same as being naked. We have heard Srila Prabhupada once chastised some south indian gentleman who was dressed in this particular style.
