Guest guest
Bhaktivedanta Leadership Newsletter Real Leader Real leader means one who does not commit mistake, who is not illusioned, who does not cheat and who has no imperfect senses, or, in other words, one who has perfect senses. So if you say, "How it is possible for the conditioned soul?Yes, it is possible if you follow the perfect." Just like we are doing. We are following Krsna. He does not commit mistake, He is not illusioned, His senses are not imperfect, and He does not cheat. We are following. Therefore, although we are imperfect, because we are following the perfect, our proposition is perfect. Morning Walk, December 12, 1973, Los Angeles Editor's Note Good leaders care about people they lead. Where leadership is just for the glory of the leader, that leader will ultimately fail. Good leaders are good listeners. They not only pause often, but they also stop talking and just look, nod and assent with vocal aknowledgements, particularly when there is conflict, misunderstanding, or hostility in the air. Listening is ear service augmented with the eyes. Caring involves knowing the names of people, responding promptly, smiling, acknowledging with a nod, and ultimately being out together with people. By being with them often, a leader shows he cares and is accessible, while also gaining valuable information about what's really going on.
