Guest guest
Always be conscious of Krishna The process of always thinking of Krishna is the process of Krishna Consciousness. The first class Yogi is he who is always conscious of Krishna. One can be conscious of Krishna by hearing about Him submissively. - His Divine Grace A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada Sreemad Bhagavatham, 3.14.31 Purport, in the book “Teachings of Lord Kapila” Devotional service to Krishna Devotional service to Lord Krishna is performed when the heart no longer desires any material benefit to be obtained in this life or the next. This is freedom from the bonds of Karma. - Gopala Tapani Upanishad, 1.14 Satisfaction is derived only from devotional service to Krishna It is true that by practicing restraint of the senses by the yoga system one can get relief from the disturbances of desire and lust, but this is not sufficient to give satisfaction to the soul, for this satisfaction is derived from devotional service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead. - Narada Muni, Srimad Bhagavatham, 1.6.35 Don’t be devoid of devotion to the Lord Persons intoxicated by worldly affairs of sense gratification and persons who to the impersonal philosophy both maintain their lives uselessly, because they are devoid of devotion to the Lord. - Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura, in Saranagati. Dedicated life is noble life Dedicate your life for Krishna. That is the perfection. Even if there are some faults, dedicated life is noble life. May be, due to our past habits, we may commit some faulty action, but that dedicated life is sublime. - Srila Prabhupada in his conversations in Mayapur, 4th March, 1974. Always remember Krishna Always remember Krishna who is your dear most friend and always serve Him just to please Him, and He will give you all intelligence how to be a first class devotee. - Srila Prabhupada in his letter to Mr. DDD, 3rd March, 1970. Co-operate with the Lord Unless we co-operate with the Supreme Lord, our life is baffled. A screw which has fallen from a machine has no value. But when the same screw is again attached to the machine, it has value. We are part and parcel of God. Without God, what is our value ? No value ! We should again come back to our position of attachment to God. Then we have value. - Srila Prabhupada in his conversation with Bob Cohen, 29th February, 1972. Do act on behalf of the Supreme Lord If you are steady either in success or failure, that is called yoga. Don’t mind for the success or failure. Do act on behalf of the Supreme Lord. And if you are steady in that position, then your working in spiritual platform is successful. - Srila Prabhupada, in Newyork, 1st April, 19 Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger.
