Srila Prabhupada NectarNon - violent

 

Once, as we were walking from Juhu Beach back to the

temple, Srila Prabhupada continued to speak to the

devotees. He said, "When we take charge of the

government, we will go to the people and tell them,

'Either you chant Hare Krsna or we will kill you,"

"All the devotees laughed heartily, except, perhaps,

for me.

Srila Prabhupada turned to me and said, " What do you

think, Giriraj?" With as much conviction as I could

muster, I said, " yes very good, Srila Prabhupada."

Then Srila Prabhupada turned to the other devotees and

announced, " Our Giriraj is non-violent."

Then we all laughed.
