Guest guest
>From Vedanta Sutra by Baladeva Vidyabhushana: 1. They who, desiring to see the wonders of the higher planets, faithfully perform the duties of varŠ€rama-dharma, are called sani˜ha. 2. They who, desiring to enjoy the things of this world, faithfully perform the duties of varŠ€rama-dharma, are called parini˜hita. They who are in these two classes are all followers of varŠ€rama-dharma. 3. Others, purified by truthfulness, austerity, japa, and other spiritual practices, have no material desire, are called nirapeka. They are in this class are not followers of varŠ€rama-dharma. In this way there are three kinds of seekers of transcendental knowledge.
