Thank you for your letter. I happy you have doubts and are eager to address

them. I wish you a good health and happy devotional sadhana. If your health

is good, then we should have more time for chanting, reading SB etc and the

preaching should increase as a result of good health.

yes. after a lot of research Feb 18th, 2005, in Mumbai. bharatiya pustak

bhandar, I obtained Navneet publications book, (they publish school books

for gujarati children) "auto urine therapy" which has the original

devanagari sanskrit of the complete 107 sloka Damar tantra, (siva Parvati

samvada) about this health procedure.

 

now there are vaisnava tantras (instructions) and shaiva tantras.

 

I have about 5 books detailing this procedure, and history of how thru the

centuries, people have benefited by it's adoption. I have scanned those

books but they are not yet recognized up for Ms word as It takes a lot of

time to get this done.

 

there are other problems to wide distribution to the public so they can make

their own free choices /options.

 

damar tantra's slokas are in devanagari and In Hindi there is no (OCR)

software (I asked last year) to recognise such scanned pages.

 

In Vrndavana, in my library, have so many naturopathic books on how to

treat diseases, by village therapies, and by diet-foods-herbs. I intend on

eventually putting all of them in a folio type searchable database, so that

devotees- anyone can find out information on a particular malady and cure

options by a few key stokes.

 

everyone is dying off, last year we lost Sridhar swami and Mulaprakriti dasi

to cancer.

 

even our dear HH BTS are leaving gradually from it, and others after

investing so many thousands of $. He's a big guru, he's got supporters who

financed it.

 

I'm thinking of all the ABC's like you and me, who don't have the big $'s

for heavy pharmacutical/ ayurvedic products. shouldn't we have some cheap

free options?

 

what's smart? spending thousands of $, and losing the battle, or adopting a

cheap free daily maintainance offered by the best of vaisnava's who's a

mahajana at that..so we try not to get it, of course there are no guarantees

in life. but why neglect things?

 

is reiki transcendental? is it in sastra? but you have GBC's who are reiki

masters! was Prabhupada into reiki? No, but did that stop GBC's from

accepting it as a health tool. no.

 

are they to be condemned for adopting it?

did they have to resign from the GBC for adopting their preferences for

health?

 

they show by their example...health choices are personal they don't have to

fall under GBC rules.

 

you and everyone else in Iskcon are free to make your choices. Ayurvedic

(and urine therapy is there in ayurvedic texts as well according to Dr. sk

sharma's -miracles of urine therapy).

 

buddhist medicine, acupressure, acupuncture, jain medicine, water therapy.

breathairians, fastings, sun gazing.

 

I've already made mine 3 months ago, and yes I'm getting better.

 

like I explained to you prabhu, everyone has to be silent and private with

their own health therapies.

 

it's for you personally if you choose. others (who haven't read up on it,

and even some who have read only a small amount, but still have negative

doubts may criticize it, we should respect their preferences, (let them go

ahead -pay $$$ for maintainance they neglected to perform when younger.

 

all due to a pessimistic/ conditioned- misinformed lack of understanding it

all. I'd rather try to educate the mass of devotees to be careful to adopt

maintanance therapies in their lifestyles as long as the sadhana is not

stopped.

 

of course we must be sensitive to others so we don't risk be alienated or

sidelined by the devotees we love.

 

I have been faithfully drinking a few times a day for 3 months and

performing urine message daily for 1 month now. I now have cow urine message

oil, I must say my health has improved a lot:

 

(by washing my eyes 3-4 times a day) ears too.

 

(1) eyes are clearer, getting stronger. I hope the tests will prove later on

in one year if my vision is totally normal and no need of specs like I have

now.

(2) my nasal passages are better,

(3) skin feels amazingly soft,

(4) ugly patch of discoloured skin (that some feared could become cancerous)

has gotten better.

(5)vericose veins in my legs have improved, practically the vericose veins

tension has stopped -well on the way to 100% cure.

(6) the hard hemoroids on my rear end have disappeared too.

(7) my sikha hair is soft.

(8) energy has increased,

(9) vitality has increased

(10) memory and determination is increasing as well.

(11) slight ringing in my ears has stopped.

 

naturally, for Vaisnava's, esp those dwelling in Mayapura-vrndavana we

should give preference to cow urine and medicine from it.

 

As most city dwellers no longer keep cows, (and I as a traveling itinerant

mendicant) don't have one to come with me on the planes-trains-buses).

 

everyone has to make his or her own choices for the maintainance of the

health, (which is done for Jivasya tattva jijnasa SB 1.1.10).

 

I am personally taking advantege of this cheap (free) therapy to maintain my

health. and whenever possible I substitute cow urine for my own as it is

better- no doubt.

 

every elderly person fights with health issues after 35 years of age. How

each one responds to it depends on their own researches into it.

 

I've got a poser...Siva's a mahajana, and no doubt everything He says in SB

is gold right? but when He advices one to drink one's own urine (mixed with

different ayurvedic herbs for different months) are we to think He's now

lost His "sivatwa"?

 

He's now no longer a mahajana? that would be tantamount to ardha kukuti

nyaya, half a hen philosophy.

 

Is it wise for Iskcon devotees (who are by nature poor due to spending

considerable amount of time chanting, reading SB, serving Krsna) to spend

$30000 + for chemotherapy, or expensive allopathic, ayurvedic drugs and

waste so much sadhana, time procuring the same?
