Guest guest
Dear and respected Vaishnavas, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada, our founder acarya, who dispels all our doubts and resolves all our contradictions. My understanding is, Srila Prabhupada is the best pramana especially for ISKCONians. If he does not recommend something, then better we drop it. Panca Gavya is OK as per Srila Prabhupada for bathing. Own urine, so far evidence shows not OK as per Srila Prabhupada. For maintaining good health, abhyanga "full body oil massage" is good enough. Srila Prabhupada personally had full body oil massage. Sesame oil, mustard oil etcc,. are good according to the individual constitution or according to season etc,. We can follow Srila Prabhupada's personal example of simple oil massage and can keep good health. I am doing it atleast once a week and so far quite OK. However in the last 30 days I am doing it atleast every alternate day. In the last 15 days, I have done atleast 14 out of 15 days full body oil massage. I feel greaaa....at. ----------- Devotee (3): It's time for massage now, Srila Prabhupada. Prabhupada: All right. [break] --------------- Ätreya Rishi : Have you had your massage, Srila Prabhupäda? Prabhupada: No, I'll come back and do. ------------------ Tamäla Krishna : It's getting to be time for your massage, Srila Prabhupada. Prabhupäda: Hm. Yes. ----------- Tamäla Krishna : Yeah, a little bit. Every three days or so. I don't think there's any harm. That oil massage seems to give you... You seem to enjoy it more, Srila a Prabhupada. What is the reason? Prabhupada: It makes the whole body soothing. -------------- Tamäla Krishna : I remember when we were in Mäyäpura last, Srila Prabhupäda, before going to the Bombay pandal. Every morning we would take you upstairs, and you would sit in the sun, and Bhavänanda Mahäräja would massage you for two hours. Remember? You said you were getting your strength from that sun and the massage. It's also very nice to take you around. Even as you say it's wonderful how we do it, but we like to take you in any condition, traveling. Hare Krishna, --------------- Tamäla Kåñëa: Are you comfortable, Çréla Prabhupäda? Prabhupäda: Yes. I want little... Tamäla Kåñëa: Little? Prabhupäda: My... Tamäla Kåñëa: What is that "my," Çréla Prabhupäda? Jayapatäkä: "My" must mean massage. Tamäla Kåñëa: Massage? Where, Çréla Prabhupäda? On your leg? Prabhupäda: On the corner of the waist. Tamäla Kåñëa: Both sides? Prabhupäda: No, left side. Tamäla Kåñëa: Here, Çréla Prabhupäda. Hm? Prabhupäda: Yes. Tamäla Kåñëa: I'll put a little oil on? It's against aching. This is all right. Prabhupäda: Brisk. Tamäla Kåñëa: This is that oil you liked for pains. Upendra: On the back. Tamäla Kåñëa: Upendra said. "Should I put a little?" Prabhupäda: Yes. ------- Your humble servant, Bhadra Govinda Dasa.
Guest guest
Dear Madan Gopal Prabhu, PAMHO. AGTSP. This is what I also said in my previous text. --- "Panca Gavya is OK as per Srila Prabhupada for bathing. Own urine, so far evidence shows not OK as per Srila Prabhupada." Panca Gavya includes cow urine, and I said it is OK with cow urine. Thanks for your earlier file.
