Guest guest
May 12 Early this morning, Prabhupada requested that, wherever we went, we should always secure cow's milk for him. That was the main food he was taking now. A copy of Perfect Questions, Perfect Answers was presented to Srila Prabhupada. He very much appreciated the photo of the gopis pushing Radharani to Krsna. He said, "Women are especially envious; yet here in the spiritual world, the principle is seva." Prabhupada's darsana from five to six o'clock in the evenings was fast becoming the most popular event in Rishikesh. If one did not come exactly on time, there was little chance of his getting in, as the room was not very large. And it was no wonder people were eager to come: Prabhupada's preaching is astounding! It is absolutely absolute! His Divine Grace drove home the point that one should accept Krsna's word "as it is." Krsna is the standard accepted by all the great acaryas. And there was no doubt in anyone's mind that Prabhupada knew what Krsna had stated. Many mayavadi sannyasis were listening respectfully, and they were becoming influenced. At the end, they came up and bowed their heads at Prabhupada's lotus feet. It is wonderful! Normally, mayavadis are very proud, thinking of themselves as Narayana; yet now they bow down to Prabhupada! Prabhupada's humility is winning. Prabhupada says, "Yes, I admit I am a fool." It reminds one of Lord Caitanya's converting the mayavadis of Benares. "Srila Prabhupada," I said, "you must have told us at least ten thousand Bengali stories.Yes," he said, "my Guru Maharaja also was telling them. Bengalis are very humorous." - From the TKG's Diary by HH Tamal Krishna Goswami Maharaj Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger.
