We are grateful to all the devotees who have come together to help with the

National Youth Festival Video project.

 

We are especially thankful to H.G. Hari Das Prabhu and his team, especially

Rajesh Prabhu for all their hard work to shoot the 40 hours of video footage

during the National Youth Festival in Pune 2005.

 

Praneshwar Prabhu and his IYF team in Juhu put together a video previously

that they showed at the NYF. We can benefit from their experience. He is

on the scene in Juhu in the same building with ITV and can perhaps help us

in our work with ITV.

 

Damodhara Prabhu and Sunny Prabhu collected a large number of still photos

from the NYF that can be used in the Video.

 

Pravin Sahu Prabhu has some skills and ideas for preparing animations for

use in the Video.

 

H.G. Bal Govind Prabhu has joined the team and is willing to visit the ITV

studio in Juhu to help oversee the work.

 

Last night Bhagavat Saptah/ Ramayana Katah finished here in Mauritius. I

have some time now to work on the National Youth Festival (NYF) Video. I

NEED YOUR HELP!

 

This is the situation:

 

I have received an email from H.G. Radheshyam Prabhu (RSP) with the subject

line:

 

Next ICC Meeting Patna April 25 -27 U.R.G.E.N.T. HAREEBBOLLL !!!

 

RSP has asked us to put together a 10 minute video of the National Youth

Festival to show to the ICC. The ICC owe ISKCON Pune Rs. 3 lahks. If we

show them a nice video, our chances of recovering that laxmi increases.

Therefore, this is an urgent project with 3 lahks on the line.

 

The video presentation to the ICC should be ready by April 23rd so that it

can reach Patna on time. We only have a little more than a week to do the

project.

 

Rajesh Prabhu (ITV coordinator), is your health o.k.? Are you ready to get

into this project now? Is the studio ready?

 

In addition to this urgent short term goal of a 10 minute video to show the

ICC, we have some long term goals for video documentation of the 2005 NYF.

 

1. 10 Minute Video Report to the ICC

2. 5 Minute Video Presentation to future prospective donors

3. 1 1/2 hour Video Documentary

4. All useable Video footage of entire event in one package.

5. Educational Package containing only classes, seminars and debates.

 

H.G. Hari das Prabhu, ITV (India) in charge, who organized the NYF video

shoot, has a new in-house video editing studio located in the ISKCON Juhu

compound. He has kindly agreed to facilitate our NYF video post-production

at Rs. 250 per hour. Is this figure still correct Hari das Prabhu? This is

a rock bottom low cost incomparable to any other rate on the market which

averages around Rs. 450 per hour and we are very grateful to him for helping

us out with this most important and worthy project of presenting Krishna

consciousness to the youth of India.

 

Praneshwar Prabhu, you are on the scene in Juhu, next to ITV. Would you be

able to help us with this project by sometimes going to ITV yourself or

sending a competent devotee like H.G. Radhikaraman Prabhu and helping to

select the best video footage for use in the Video?

 

I am working on the script. I could use transcriptions of the previous

scripts used in the IYF video (IYF Juhu) and IYS (IYS Chowpatty). If

someone could send me these, it would be helpful. I could also use the most

updated mission statements, goals, aims and objectives of IYF/ IYS.

in Juhu. If anyone knows of any additional video footage of the NYF, copies

or originals should be immediately sent to Rajesh Prabhu at ITV in Juhu.

 

Re: Still Photos: Damodhara Prabhu and Sunny Prabhu please put together a

collection of the best NYF photos on CD. Give one copy to Bal Govinda

Prabhu. Send 2 copies to Juhu as soon as possible. One copy should go to

Praneshwar Prabhu and one copy to Rajesh Suvarna Prabhu.
