Guest guest
Dear Matajis, Prabhus, dear Maharaja. Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila prabhupada. Since I'm somehow member of this email link, I'd like to express my thoughts. I was following debate quietly. I'm not even sure how I became part of it, especially now, in Krsna Katha forum. I think it started with my "Pope?" quote, then moved to some German forums, and now somehow ended here. Please correct me, if I'm wrong. What bothers me is this very unfortunate situation, that devotees cannot take opinion of Jayadvaita maharaja in a respectful and humble attitude. I beg to remind you, that he is sannyasi, and thus spitiual master for all varnas and asramas, as we were tought by Srila Prabhupada. I feel great urge to say this words. If we cannot properly show respect to sannyasi, then he will peacefully withdraw himself from this debate. We will think, that we won, but actually our loss is immeasurable. He has no other business than to teach us what is right, how to properly understand Prabhupada. As long as he is quoting Prabhupada, he cannot go wrong. That is his power, quoting Prabhupada and explaining to us. By neglecting his opinion, we only show our disqualification, to be accepted in any kind of vedic society. In this way we oppose Srila Prabhupadas desire, that we should follow the rules vedic society. And thus we condemn ourselves to be a members of materialistic society, where any action only brings degradation. If we cannot value opinion of sannyasi, then what is the value of any other opinion we may have. Even, if we are right from some point of view, our idea has no value in vedic system. Any compassion becomes useless sentiment, just as any hard-heartedness becomes another useless sentiment. Our duty, as members of ISKCON, is to worship, take care of and follow sannyasis. We must have faith, that they know what they are talking about. And we must have faith, that even if they somehow go wrong, they will be corrected. Now, you may want to correct them yourself, but myself, I refuse to engage in such inproper behavior. Therefore, please exclude me from this thread. I refuse to support any of its ideas, if it continues do deviate from vedic standard of humble, servitor mood towards our superiours. your servant Giri-nayaka das BVS
