>Dear Ram Laksman Prabhu! Are You sure to compare such personalities

>as Jayadvaita Maharaja (who is in good standing) to those mentioned?

Harikesh was also in great standing at one time. At the same time he was

writing insane things in his books, like for example a Russian oil

exploration team while drilling for oil found half-human lizard like

creatures inside the earth - and this is the proof of the nagaloka. I knew

he was insane the moment I read it, but a lot of others thought it was the

words of a pure devotee. And if we disagreed we were insignificant

offenders.

You cannot expect everyone to blindly accept people's statements just

because they are in "good standing". Allow everyone the right to have their

own opinion, and don't be offended just because we disagree with you.

>Fortunatelly we have the GURU SADHU SASTRA principle, so is

>anything Jayadvaita Swami said here, against it? Is it against

>what the other sadhus say? Or against the sastra? Or against

>Srila Prabhupada have tought us?

All devotees cite guru, sadhu and shastra. The disagreement is in deciding

what these statements mean. For example Bhaktivinoda saying the Vaishnava

culture includes engaging in material charitable activities. This is the

word of guru, but Jayadvaita Maharaja interprets it differently, and that is

his right. Each of us also deserve the same right to decide what these

things mean to us. Have the decency to let people disagree with you without

saying they are offenders.

The problems nowadays is devotees, armed with computer and internet

connections, don't really care if they offend great personalities or any

personality, at all. With a small intelligent, they think they have solution

and understanding of the teachings of the acaryas, and thus will not give

second thought to the opinions of those who are superior to them. Thus they

blast off endlessly from their computer desktops. It is all part of the Kali

yuga effects.

ys, Isvara dasa.

Please accept my humble obeisances, all glories to Srila Prabhupada and all

of his faithful servants, superiour and otherwise.

Prabhu, the point of any discussion is hearing various points of view. No two

people, devotees or anyone will see the same issue in exactly the same way,

hence there is discussion. I do not think anyone on this conference meant to

offend anyone else, superior or otherwise. Devotees are magnanimous by nature,

and do not take offense easily, especially when none is intended. If offense

was taken, perhaps skins are a little thin. I have noticed that you do not seem

to have any problem blasting off endlessly from your computer desktop. Perhaps

your criticism in this regard is rather like the strainer pointing out that

the needle has a hole. Please consider this observation maternal in nature.

yhs, Kanti dasi
