It represents a collaboration between Dravida Prabhu, Ksama Dasi, me, and others. Comments and suggestions are welcome. Hare Krsna. Guest guest
Dear Jayadvaita Swami and crew -- Please accept my obeisance. Jai Prabhupada!! Greetings! I read the style sheet with great interest. Wise choices indeed. I would add that "obeisances" is not a word. And you might want to apprise devotees of the fact that ascetics are not necessarily aesthetic. They tend to confuse the two words. Also, it's "I fall prostrate at your feet," not "I fall prostate at your feet." I won't tell you who made that blunder! Best. --Satyaraja Dasa Jayadvaita Swami <Jayadvaita.Swami (AT) pamho (DOT) net> Editing <Editing (AT) pamho (DOT) net> Mon, 25 Jul 2005 20:48 -0400 BBT style sheet [Message body not loaded...]
Guest guest
Please accept my----dandavat pranams. >I would add that "obeisances" is not a word. You sure about that? The OED cites "1765 H. Walpole Otranto iii. (1798) 49 The herald made three obeisances." Merriam-Webster gives two meanings: >1 : a movement of the body made in token of respect or submission : >BOW > >2 : acknowledgment of another's superiority or importance : HOMAGE >*makes obeisance to her mentors* I don't see why the first of these couldn't be plural. Thank you for "ascetic/ aesthetic" and "prostate/ prostrate." Well worth adding. Hare Krsna. --ys, js
