Guest guest Posted July 29, 2005 Report Share Posted July 29, 2005 Dear Prabhus Haribol Bhaktivedanta Manor is currently looking for two devotees to assist with the horticultural department in the growing and harvesting of vegetables. Experience is appreciated, but not necessary. These posts are for volunteers only as they are not paid roles. The applicants will be expected to do the following: - Work outdoors in crop growing and cultivation. - Assist with harvesting farm produce (this may require late finishing) - to be able to work with other people - to be able to work without supervision if required - to be responsible for ones own timekeeping if required - Some general temple services may be required on occasion - to be in good health and willing to work well - to commit to work for a period of 6 months-1 year. - Follow the Temple program, unless reasonable circumstances dictate otherwise In return for your assistance you will: - be given use of a shared room, either in the ashram, or in a small caravan, during your stay - Be given three meals per day and whatever Mahaprasadam you can get access to - gain a wonderful experience of a preaching center situated in the English countryside - Be witness to many different preaching programs held at the Manor - Gain experiences that will benefit your home temple - Be involved in an exciting pioneering project.
