Guest guest
My Dear ISKCON Devotees, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada. The whole ritvik-IRM argument is a classical case of: "eka-desanvaya uttara-slokartha-tatparya-virodhah," a contradictory interpretation that creates illogical conflict with other instructions spoken in the same context. They take the July 9 letter completely out of context. Srila Prabhupada told us on April 6, 1975 in Mayapur that that ISKCON would have ten million initiating gurus. And they want to tell us that Prabhpuada was wrong. Is this a case of "the dogs will bark but the caravan will pass?" Hoping this meets you in good health, Always your humble servant, Sankarshan Das Adhikari ==================================================== Contact Information: Ph: 1-512-835-2121 Mail: ISKCON, 10700 Jonwood Way, Austin, Texas 78753 USA Jahnu (Dvipa das JPS) (Mayapur - IN) [Jahnu (AT) pamho (DOT) net] Wednesday, August 03, 2005 1:37 AM Haridasa Thakura (das) ACBSP (Midrand - SA) Cc: Initiations in ISKCON Continuing the disciplic succession I'd like to second that. That rivikism has even been discussed in ISKCON as if it had some merit is astounding in and of itself. As far as I am concerned the concept is nothing but disguised atheism and it should be treated as such. ys, jdd > All glories to SRILA PRABHUPADA! > Disciple means discipline.
