Guest guest Posted August 6, 2005 Report Share Posted August 6, 2005 Srila Prabhupada often stated that Thakura Haridasa was elevated to the post of namacarya by Lord Caitanya (see for instance Bg 6.44 ppt.) Was Lord Caitanya's thus elevating him a formal undertaking, and if so where and when did it take place? Does the term namacarya appear in any of the old biographies of Lord Caitanya?
