Guest guest Posted August 13, 2005 Report Share Posted August 13, 2005 Dear Devotees, I heard that the back tire went flat as they were coming downhill from a mountainous region into El Paso. The driver lost control and the van rolled over and over down a large embankment. All the devotees were thrown from the vehicle. El Paso is about halfway from LA to New Orleans, or 17 hours from LA and the accident happened sometime Monday, so it is likely they had driven overnight. I will probably find out more this weekend when I go to New Orleans. But as Krsna says in Bhagavad-gita, "What need is there for such detailed knowledge?" It was such a terrific crash that we're just thankful any of them got through it alive.
