Yet Prabhupada used it on occasion. Something that you seem content to either ignore or explain away as some kind of random "forgetfulness" on Srila Prabhupada's part that he was talking to or addressing a woman. That is the MOST annoying part of all---you just brush Srila Prabhupada's involvement in this away. So he said "see all women as mother." He also called them Prabhu. Get over it or get used to it, but really, what's the big deal? I personally hate being called prabhu. But from a lot of men, I also hate being called mataji, because it has an edge, and if you don't get that, you're not very conscious of the facts surrounding your chosen subject matter, so it might pay to do some research, as Gauri and Babhru prabhus have suggested. > > Mother Braja Sevaki wrote: 'Just because a woman is considered "mother" > doesn't negate the fact that she is also "master."' > > This is a perfectly acceptable idea. No, I think the the real issue seems to be that some men can't accept the concept of women as "prabhu". Really. And your constant objection to it labels you as one of them. Maybe this is all too honest for you.
