The sentence has other problems. Mainly, we don't know which way the

phrase beginning "if one considers" points. Does it point backward to

"Although guru-tattva. . ." or forward to the rest?

 

Better:

 

Guru-tattva is actually a manifestation of Krsna, but if one

considers the spiritual master the supreme worshipable object. . .

 

Semi-colons or commas--it's up to you.
