(And related teachings from Srila Prabhupada the > article doesn't mention will almost surely come to your mind.) Dear Maharaja, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Surely it's a great article, well written and researched. Gupta Nama prabhu has done a wonderful job of putting this information together in a very effective way. But it's hardly anything new: most of the rest of the world (a place that America has a difficult time remembering or locating unless they want to blow it up) has known this since before 9/11, yet every time it comes up it's slammed as a 'conspiracy theory.' The fact is that the American government *is* a collective group of demons, and has been for a long time, but of course if a devotee uses the word demonic then they're just fanatics, right? Because we have to be politically correct, right? It's time to remember that Srila Prabhupada didn't go to America because it was the "greatest" country in the world: he went there because it was the most influential and was emerging as the world leader due to their demonic tactics, and he could no doubt foresee that it was only going to get worse, and the only intelligent course of action would be to head to the source. He knew where the power of Kali lay: America. It's high time Americans got over themselves and stopped inflicting themselves on the rest of the world. Like Gupta Nama prabhu's article pointed out, in times of peace these people will create war just for the purposes of self aggrandizement. Only in America... Unfortunately, this "America is wonderful" routine has dirtied up ISKCON as well, and the institution is suffering under a majority management who are first Americans, and secondly devotees. I still can't get over the sannyasi who said, "I can't imagine what it would be like to have been born anywhere but America...." Thank you and goodnight Your servant Braja Sevaki dd
