It seems that it's possible to believe

 

* that a group of conspirators--Mohammed Atta and others,

backed by Al-Qaeda--pulled off the attacks on the WTC and

the Pentagon, catching everyone in the US government

unawares

 

* that the US (rather than pursuing imperial interests) has

caused the deaths of upward of 100,000 people as part of

a genuine global war on terror

 

and

 

* that any facts that might seem at odds with the above

notions must be few and trivial, or,

 

if such facts, on the contrary, are numerous and

significant, we can sensibly account for them by theories

of enormous official incompetence and multiple

coincidences

 

and still be a wonderful devotee of Krsna.
