The place to do that is outside ISKCON. That's the main crux of this issue. No one is disputing that ecological considerations are a priority in the development of Mayapur. Solai assumes that the management are corrupt and are interested only in power, and will "kill or dislodge" anyone who speaks out. If that's the case, I should have been dead or misplaced years ago > > These are things which we all can and should address wherever we > serve. It is pretty much axiomatic that the Mayapur project, and > indeed all ISKCON projects need to be free of these problems for > long-term success. It's a huge step from simply stating these things, to actually proving that the Mayapur Project team is "guilty" of it. In my experience, assumptions only end up making fools of those who propagate them. Perhaps it would be wise to backtrack a little and enquire from the Project managers what studies they have done, before concluding that these things are being "ignored" by them? As far as I know, Pancaratna prabhu responded to these claims on Solai's weblog, but he doesn't seem like the type to be satisfied with facts. What can be done? If one is operating from the axiom that SMPDC is ignoring these things, then they're uninformed, and in my experience, uninformed people who make it their business to spread disinformation everywhere are just a plain nuisance. If you'll excuse me, I have had about enough of this "issue," and have said all I intend to. Your servant Braja Sevaki dd
