Dear Family Members of Shyamahari das,

Please accept my blessings. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada who is an ocean

of transcendental mercy to the fallen conditioned souls in this age of Kali.

Shyamahari das is a very dear spiritual son. I had the good fortune of

staying with him several times at his house. His wife and children are also

my disciples. It is inconceivable to me that today we are observing his

disappearance. We expected him to be with us for many years preaching. I

didn't know he was suffering from health problems and was not taking care of

it. Srila Prabhupada always said we need to take care of health as without

health we cannot serve or preach. Still Shyama Hari das was so sincere that

inspite of his health problems he always was performing his Krishna

conscious and family duties.

He is very fortunate as leaving his body bowing to the Deities and for all

his devotional service certainly his destination will be glorious with Lord

Sri Krishna. We are the ones were are distressed since we have lost this

nice devotees association, support and assistance.

I can say so many things, but to keep it brief, to my observation he was a

gentleman, a sincere devotee, a caring father, a loving husband, a

submissive disciple and a dedicated preacher. I am deeply affected that

such a valuable disciple has been withdrawn from active devotional service

in this world so soon. Someone whom we deeply needed.

The decisions of Lord Sri Krishna are difficult to understand. Each one of

us has a destined time period on this world. His time had come to and end

it seems. We can rejoice that we shared so many blissful and sublime

moments together. Now those who have remained behind need to keep faithful

and follow in his footsteps of sincere devotional service. From my side I

am eager to help in any way I can. I am glad to hear that all the family

members have come together. All family members are blessed to have such a

wonderful relative. Normally devotees live a long time. We cannot say why

his life has ended so soon. Nothing is definite in this regard. What is

important is that whatever time we live in this world we life appropriately.

He has done an amazing amount of pious and devotional service for which his

destination will be very glorious.

For me I miss him. I pray to Lord Sri Krishna for ShyamaHari das's being

accepted at His lotus Feet.

I hope this finds you in good material and spiritual health.

Your Well Wisher Always,

Jayapataka Swami
