When I was after I received initiation he took the time to find the verse were my name was referenced in the Skanda Purana. I only knew him then as the quirky high voiced cartoon character in the Sanskrit department. He was part of the fabric of the LA BBT, an endearing part; he was always there always at his service. Later when he moved from that service and into the LA apartment were he did his vast translation work, I would sometimes go and purchase a book or two. Mountains of books and the same happy quirky person surrounded him. I admired his steadfastness and abilities to serve Srila Prabhupada and Sri Krishna.
