We discussed this with Kusakratha prabhu two years ago. He was very clear that he wanted his books to become public domain. There is no copyright and no one person or business or institution that can lay claim to them. There is an existing stock of Kusakratha's books in Kansas city under the care of Danavir Goswami if anyone is interested in obtaining them. I met Kushakratha prabhu in San Diego in 1973. Of course he was eccentric, but I was used to that. Mostly he was kind and generous. Many years later I stopped by his LA apartment to pick something up for Dravida. Kusha remembered me and invited me in, gushing about the work he was doing on Gopala Champu. After we stepped over and around several stacks of stuff, he sat me down and drenched me with nectar for 15-20 minutes. I don't think I've seen him since then, but my wife and I were both distressed to hear of his illness. His passing is a great loss to all of us, but those books are his legacy. Without Kushakratha, how would I know that Krishna's milk pail has a name? Satyaki and I also join the rest of the devotees in our gratitude to all the devotees who helped him out of this life.
