Guest guest
to deenabandhu dasa and dear all devotees, Jayadvaita Swami put it very aptly when He just wrote about another recently departed vaisnava sri Shyamahari dasa in Syamadesh (sharjah UAE) > We are in loss. We will be missing the association of such a devoted > Vaisnava, who was such an example of wonderful spiritual qualities in > action. > > And we are in gain because he has left us the example of how to > complete the course of human life with full success, fully engaged in > devotional service always, and offering obeisances to the spiritual > master as the last act in life. > > Shyama Hari Prabhu ki jaya! Iskcon loses another translator, missing the association of a dedicated Prabhupada man, who gave the Iskcon world a window into so many of the Gosvami's nectar verses. I can only hope that now his last book work a translation of 7000 verse Jiva Gosvami's Gopala Champu can now finally see print and distribution. Deenabandhu, it was Known that Danavir gosvami was caring for Kushas' stock of USA books in Kansas. Do you know what is the arrangement to further Kusha's legacy by editing (as his books was never edited) and printing further editions of His works? was Baladeva able to discuss with Kusha any detail in that direction? Iskcon gains another example of how to depart this world- Looking at Sri Radha Ramana ji photo intensely with unblinking eyes and Hearing the kirtan of Aindra dasa and other dedicated Kirtaniyers in Vrndavana. It is such a unique thing that the 24 Hour kirtan group does such service when possible as they did for Suchirani dasi, Mulaprakriti dasi, and now Kushakratha dasa in their final hour of need. He used to live downtown in the Gopinatha Bazzar. Is is unique that he called for His Lord Radha Ramana. He must of visited and Prayed to Him so often. It was hard to meet him. Even when you did, like I saw him outside of Mukunda datta ACBSP's BBT rented flat a-1 101 15 pm August end, 2005. I gave him a hug and thanked him for His service over the years. He just pipped up his usual chipper "haribol" but in a much weakened Groggy gravelly voice, as He admitted his 3 Cancer tumours on His tongue, in his throat, others alongside his Jugular vein, and next to his Aorta had practically destroyed his ability to speak any longer. Wondering How His health was faring, and If I could be of help, in early September, I had once sent Bhakta Charles to drop by and see him. Kusha was courteous at first, but then asked him. "Do you have any questions?" Charles replied "no, I just wanted to see if you needed any Kirtaniers to come to be with you or If I could help". "No"-Kush replied- then he pointed to the Door. "Close the door behind you when you leave". Thus I was really worried that due to His fiercely guarded life as a dhama recluse, maybe no-one would see his active dying state and be able to call for the kirtan party to help him at the end. I was so releived to hear that Baladev Vidyabhusana SDG was able to stay fixed to visit him, despite His own jaundice condition Which was a remarkable selflessness in itself and that Krsna allowed Baladeva the perception that Kusha was departing soon. So He could ask kusha what arangement he wanted. due to having traveled to USA from Ukraine in May to see HH Bhakti Tirtha swami, I had postponed my whole summer Ukraine tour, thus I had to leave Vraja to fulfill that prior commitment I had made, When I got my Russian visa and changed plane ticket quite unexpectedly, I was thinking of coming back by taxi to well wish Kushakratha off- but at the last minute called it off as too straining of an endeavour. Now I lament that I didn't go. I called Daivishakti, She thought his was a stable enough condition, He *might* stay until November 1. I was so happy to beg for her blessings for preaching success- as Her blessings mean a lot to this lowely servant of Prabhupada's servants. Baladeva was more guarded in His accessments, thinking that he might not last the distance. I asked Baladeva to offer my respects on my behalf- Yet now I see I have thus been cheated of a personal farewell. Yet Lord Krsna has also allayed my fears about Kusha's last days by Protecting Kusha's last days in another Memorable way. Thank you all! Baladeva Vidyabhusana, Jusaniya, Daivishakti and deenabandhu of Vrnda Kunda trust. Yadunandana pad and others who helped arrange the items He needed for his paliative care in His last days. really thank you all! Glories to Their Lordships who protect all of their devotees who know no one but Them! TridaNDi BhikSu, Bhakti Visrambha MAdhava
