Guest guest
My dear Maharajas and Prabhujis, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! I was hoping to to send a note to Kusa before he lefts us, but now I'll just share some of it here. I first met Kusakrata prabhu while travelling to San Diego on SKP. It was from him that i learned the joys and glories of Radha Giridhari. I mean he was a major devotee and they must have always been in his heart. Dwon the yearsit became a standing source of ready communication with us, like sharing a picture of Their Lordships. Later-I don't know how or when-he became a Sanskrit pundit. I remeber being with Dravida prabhu at the BI "Pondrosa" in 1978 and how he would expectantly await the next intimate transcendental literature isssuing forth from Kusakrata. I remeber him jauntily wearing certain hats, like some figure from the Italian Renaissance. I went to him for his unique bhasya on my spritual name, "Jayo". No it wasn't sundhi, as ithe BG 1036 would lead me to Believe. Kibajayo..He recgnized it as a particularly Bengali vocative greeting to remind one of Krsna.(Glories, victory) Later, this was backed up when i got VedaBase and found instances of Srila Prabhupada saying Jayo! in greeting. Who could have known that two boys from my native Brooklyn, who were elementary school -and on-chums would become two stalwart disciples of Srila Prabhupada. Thou were Peter and in you Srila Prabhupada truly had a Rock. Hoping to ever be your servant so I can see the glories of Radha Gridhari Jayo das On 7 Oct 2005, Deena Bandhu wrote: > My dear Maharajas and Prabhujis, > Please accept my humble obeisances.
