Guest guest Posted October 14, 2005 Report Share Posted October 14, 2005 On the Ram Vijayotsava, the day that Lord Ram conquered over Ravana, Sri Radharamanji rides on a huge silver elephant. This year the occasion happened on the 12th of October. I am including 3 views of this incredible darshan. Photos are courtesy of Visudha Sattva Dasa. On the 16th and 17th October for the Sharad Utsava, Sri Radharamanji will be wearing his diamond crown. On this day, all the Deities in Vrindavan are dressed in white and all the backgrounds, etc. will be white. The idea is that Srimati Radhika is sneaking out to dance with Sri Shyamsundara so she dresses in white and slips through the forest blending with the moonbeams so no one can detect her.
