IYF MEETING 8th October,2005

 

HH Bhakti Vikasa Swami was in Pune on 8th october, 2005 and he gave the

weekly ISKCON YOUTH FORUM meeting which was attended by about 350 to 400

youths from different engineering and medical colleges of pune and a number

of software and engineering professionals.

 

Some of the main points which Maharaj spoke were :-

 

· "If i think i am a vaishnava, i will not be free from accepting

respect and then pride will come and then i will become a good candidate for

hell."- Srila Bhakti Vinod Thakur.

 

· All the magazines are just satisfying the sexual appetite of the

people who get very excited reading that stuff.

 

· Before discussing RASA LILA we should understand the three steps of

self realization:-

1. Sambandha

2. Abhideya

3. Prayojana

 

· A young man says to a woman : "I love you for who you are ?" but he

doesn't know who she is ??? They are just attracted to the body and want to

enjoy the same. Why doesn't he tell the same thing to an old lady who is

more mature.

 

· And this i love you means that i love your body and want to enjoy it

for my own sense gratification. The boy looks for a beautiful body of a girl

and she in turn looks for the money and when she is over with him she throws

him away and takes a new partner. It's the attachment to the body that one

gets stuck with these materialistic woman.

 

· Fashion means to look attractive to provoke others sexual

feelings.Th e men have to go to gym to look strong and satisfy the senses of

a lusty woman.

 

· Prahalad Maharaj says it "struti sukh"--- its flickering one.One

doesn't get real enjoyment from it.And sex life esp illicit sex is very very

dangerous.

 

· Daytime is spent by the materialistic people in working hard to

maintain their so called sweet home and the night in sex indulgence and so

called relatives take away the hardly earned money. They have a very big

house which is filled with chairs and tables and no place to sit and then

they have to maintain all these things for sex indulgence.

 

· Everything has a season when its growth increases rapidly. And

during the garba dance the rate of abortion increases.Its too horrible and

sinful.

 

· RasaLila: Acceptance of the intense service of the pure devotees (

Gopis) at the topmost level. And Lord Caitanya taught us perfectly how to do

it perfectly for Krsnas pleasure.

 

· So one has to be very very careful about the illicit sex

indulgence…..otherwise its very very dangerous to take birth in a womb and

get aborted so painful and very horrible.

 

 

It was an enlivening session of almost 90 minutes and everyone

enjoyed it a lot. Maharaj also took it as an opportunity to blast one of the

bogus swamis of india(who used to call himself a swami but was actually a

womaniser)which was like a perfect icing on the cake.There were a few

questions in the end also….. could take all of them but one of them was:

 

 

Q:- Maharaj is use of pills (contraceptives) as good as abortion ?

 

Maharaj: yes, both of them are very dangerous and should be totally avoided

otherwise the reaction to it also will be very very painful….taking birth in

a womb and then getting aborted.

it.Please do forgive for my mistakes.
