Guest guest
Hare Krishna, >I wud like to have your view on extracting cream directly from the milk I usually take the cream after boiling and cooling for a few Hours. I either make it into yogurt before churning it into butter (which gives a better taste) or churn the cream directly. I always make my own Ghee. This is the only cooking medium we use for Krishna. Our Murari Gupta Prabhu here in Mayapur has a cream extracting machine. My sons always complained that the milk tastes like water afterwards. The Butter can only be used for making Ghee, since it otherwise would not be pasteurized. In India you need to definitely boil all Milk, unless your heard is tested to be free from all diseases like TB or any other parasites. Maybe Murari Gupta can comment on the cream Machine; he is also on this conference. hope this helps, Your servant, Hrimati dasi
