Guest guest
Dear Devotees of Radha Madhava We thought you'd like to be kept up to date on what's happening at ISKCON Belfast, and e-mail is a great, easy way to do this. If you'd rather not receive these emails, then please drop us a line and we'll remove you from the list. Wednesday 2 November is Govardhana-puja - the celebration of Lord Krishna lifting Govardhana Hill. We'll be starting the festival at 6.30pm with arati and offering candles to Radha Madhava. At 7, there will be a talk and at 7.30pm we'll be offering a mound of sweets to Giri-Govardhana. This will (of course!) be follwoed by a delicious feast. We hope to see you there and we're sure those who can't make it will be there in spirit. We'll try and get some photos out to you after the festival. meanwhile, at www.iskcon.com/culture/festivals/govpuja.html there's a nice explanation of this pastime and some verses and pictures that show various aspects of Govardhana-puja.
