The Sri Mayapur Project Development Committee is looking for a qualified person to head its communications efforts Details of this position are provided below. Resumes and cover letters should be sent as soon as possible by email to: prd (AT) pamho (DOT) net Your servants, Sri Mayapur Project Development Committee Sri Mayapur Project Development Committee International Communications Director Reporting to the Executive Committee and based preferably in Mayapur or Alachua, Florida-the Communications Director will: " Oversee production of all Mayapur Project publicity and marketing materials including marketing letters, newsletters, brochures, advertising, and web site development. " Work closely with the print and electronic mass media to promote the Mayapur Project creating a plan for reaching the various audiences. " Initially, will develop an inventory of possible Project special events and manage all aspects of those events. Later, will recruit, orient, train and supervise a separate Special Events Coordinator. " Develop and supervise all aspects of departmental budget. The successful candidate will have good marketing and communication skills and the demonstrated ability to write and edit a variety of materials as well as the ability to manage and motivate a staff and work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Computer literacy including proficiency in MS-Word and MS-Excel is required. Background in public relations and the printing industry including desktop publishing and web site development is preferred. Some travel will be required.
