Guest guest
My Dear Maharaja Please accept my humble pranams at your feet AGT Srila Prabhupada When dealing with the heart and cardivascular system it is important to note the health status of whom you are targeting the program for and what are the paramaters and conditions. Heart rate and Blood pressure are important considerations, as well as the age and condition of the individual. One very important strenthening procedure is aerobic exercise that drives up the heart rate for 15-45 minutes at least 3 or 4 times weekly. It could be walking briskly, leading energetic kirtan, swimming or biking. Whatever is doable. Depending on conditioning, you subtract your age from 220 and than try to sustain about 60-80% of that value. Example: 50 years old from 220 is 170 than 60-80 % of that is about 102-136.per minute. You can use the index finger on the carotid on the side of the neck to check the pulse. Hawthorn berries is one of the most useful cardivacular tonics and is widely and safely use world wide. One can safely use 500mg of the whole herb 4 times daily, or it's extract as per indicatedd. It both tones heart muscles and dilates blood vessels, that is widens the daimeter imporoving blood flow. Dayenne is another good tonic for the hart and blood circulation. Look for Cool Cayenne with 40000 heat units. Couple of times daily. Anybody over 40 would do well to add Co-Q10 to their supplement list along with a broad range multi Vit-Min which act as co-factors with it.Depending on age and health staus of the heart one could take from 30 to over 100mg once or twice a day, but not too late as it can increase energy levels. Q-Gel and LEF High absorbable have demonstrated higher absorbtion rates. Relatively expensive but very important. It also has been shown, experimentally, to reduce incidents on migraine. High B-coplex,B6, riboflavin(B2) is also useful for migraine and feverfew herb has a long history in preventions. Hope this proves useful, YFS, Jayo das On 4 Nov 2005, BVMS wrote: > SrI SrI Guru Gaurangau Jayatah > > Camp: Radhedhama C building #33-#36,Vrndavana U.P. phone 91-9319366096 > DaNDavats Dear madhava gosh prabhu and others here.
