I respond:

 

I don’t think you need to worry too much, at this stage at least, that I

will be basing my arguments on what you think. I am simply trying to

understand what your position is. Then I can either agree with you, or point

out where I think you may be going wrong. As it happens I think you've made

an interesting argument below.

 

You say:

 

“Srila Prabhupada established himself as the Founder Acarya of ISKCON. From

1966 to 1977 he was the only person in ISKCON who initiated his own

disciples (because he established himself as the founder acarya, not

necessarily because he established him as the sole diksa-guru).”

 

I reply:

So:

1) You agree that Srila Prabhupada was the only/sole diksa guru in ISKCON

from 1966 to 1977.

 

2) You also claim that this arose because of something Srila Prabhupada

himself established, namely his founder- Acaryaship.

 

3) You further elaborate that the reason he was the only person initiating

was “because he established himself as the founder Acarya.”

 

I had said that Srila Prabhupada established himself as the sole diksa guru

for ISKCON in 1966, and remained so till 1977. You have confirmed exactly

this above. But you have gone even further by publicly stating that the

reason he was the only person initiating, or the sole diksa guru, was

‘because he established himself as the founder acarya’.

 

So my next question is:

 

Do you agree that Srila Prabhupada is still the founder Acarya of ISKCON?
