Guest guest
My Dear Madhusudana Prabhu, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada. When Prabhupada made the statement about many acharyas in ISKCON he had just presented the word acharya in the context of acharya meaning "initiating guru." The word "acharya" as used by Srila Prabhupada has both a siksha sense and a diksha sense. You IRMers are guilty of half-hen logic. Hoping this meets you in good health, Always your humble servant, Sankarshan Das Adhikari ==================================================== Contact Information: Ph: 1-512-835-2121 Mail: ISKCON, 10700 Jonwood Way, Austin, Texas 78753 USA failure (AT) pamho (DOT) net [failure (AT) pamho (DOT) net] On Behalf Of Madhusudana Dasa Saturday, November 19, 2005 12:43 AM Initiations in ISKCON; Sankarsana (das) ACBSP (Austin, Texas - USA) Re: Just see the fun! Sankarshan Prabhu Again, you misrepresent our position. ISKCON has one diksa guru. Having many acharyas (at some point in time) in the siksa sense of the word. --- "Sankarsana (das) ACBSP (Austin, Texas - USA)" <Sankarsana.ACBSP (AT) pamho (DOT) net> wrote: > Srila Prabhupada said that there would be many ISKCON acharyas and the > IRM people say that he is wrong, that ISKCON will only have one > acharya.
