Actually there is no confusion. There is only one

ISKCON founded by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta

Swami Prabhupada. I joined this movement in 1971 and

was initiated by His Divine Grace the same year. He

personally instructed me how I was to serve his mission.

I am strictly following his orders without any deviation

for the last 34 years. He established the GBC (Governing

Body Commission) to manage the society and engaged them in

managing the society even when he was present. He personally

ordered me to follow the directions of the GBC. Therefore by

following the GBC I am following his order and following him.

It is a simple logic. Anyone who claims to be ISKCON but

refuses to follow the GBC is deviating from Srila Prabhupada's

instructions and is therefore not actually part of ISKCON, in

spite of their many sophisticated claims to the contrary.

Questions

My name is Deepak. I am new to Krishna Consciousness. I have met few people

who have given me 2 different opinions about iskcon philosophy. I do not

know whom to ask for clarification.

Luckily, I found your website on the internet and d to your online

course. Hope you will be able to answer my question.

Few people say that Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (Founder of iskcon) is

the only leader and spiritual master of iskcon. But there are others who

talk about GBC etc (which i dint understand) and that they are the spiritual

masters of iskcon. Who is correct?

Are you a part of the GBC group or the other group?

Thank you,

Deepak
