Please find below some of the upcoming events at ISKCON Belfast.

 

GUEST SPEAKER

 

This weekend we have a special guest speaker. His Holiness

Danavir Goswami is visiting the Belfast temple. The programme

will be as follows

 

Saturday 3 December

3.30pm Harinama (Public chanting) in Belfast city centre outside

Tesco, Royal Avenue.

 

6.30pm Arati at the temple followed by class.

 

Sunday 4 December 7.45am Srimad Bhagavatam class

 

PUBLIC LECTURE

 

To celebrate Gita Jayanti we have organised a public lecture at

Queens University on Thursday 8 December. Akandadhi prabhu has

kindly agreed to come and give a talk on Bhagavad-gita.

 

The lecture will be held in Room 211, Peter Froggatt Centre,

Queen's University, at 7pm on Thursday 8 December.

 

For those who don't know him, Akhandadhi has been the BBC’s

representative of Hinduism on its Advisory Body. He wrote the

20-part BBC series of "Readings from Hindu Scriptures" and is a

regular contributor to Radio 4’s Thought for the Day. Originally

from Belfast, he now runs Buckland Hall, a retreat centre in

Wales.

 

GUEST SPEAKER

 

Also for Gita Jayanti, Praghosa Prabhu will be giving the Sunday

Feast lecture on Sunday 11 December, 3.45pm at the temple

followed by arati at 4.45 and feast at 5.20.
